Hi trying to clarify if there is any difference with regard to fit. Searched on here and got one thread saying no difference in fit but elsewhere been told is a difference to do with hinges? Which is right, have some later doors i was going to refurb and fit but dont want to do that is they wont fit...

Hi losing oil from oil cooler, push rods, cam shaft. Breathing very heavy poss piston ring or head gone. So not sure if rebuild or exchange a better job.
Heard in the past some recons not good so after good feedback on recons or somewhere in the north west do a good job on rebuild.

windscreen seal and repair
Hi looking for a repair panel for top RH drivers side of windscreen surround does anyone do them, I cannot see on Brickwerks and schofields dont.
Also who supplies the best seals for windscreen seem to recall hearing some horror stories on poor seals

removing devon interior
Hi anyone removed a devon interior with intention of putting back in. Mines in pretty good condition but need to remove to get some body work done.

Thanks windows are recessed so must be factory fitted then. Can keep my eyes out for a window now.

its got the fitting for seat belts in the body- ie captive nuts. Not sure how you tell?

measured the window opening from outside edges of rubber as window still in
1095 long 448 high 115 bottom left to top right on driverside, window behind driver. I noticed they all have a kite mark and a vw mark and number. Is this a part / size number.

opening windows in place of fixed Devon conversion windows
Hi Would like to swap out fixed windows in Devon for some that open/ slide. I ones I see advertised seem to be out of caravelles etc. How do I know what would be a straight swap or is it luck of the draw?

Hi Can I jump in a bit here. Got a devon pop top and the gutters are bad particulary on the drivers side above drivers door and below where the hinge sits. I think i would be welding up into the side of the roof and under the repair section. Havent poked about too much yet, as dont want to create a ...
