It looks like there,s a lot of parts missing on my bus didnt realize there is a guide tube too .
i,m going to have to have another look under mine at the weekend in case ive overlooked the guide i presume there are 2 one each side .

need some advice , a good few years ago I replaced the heater cables on my air cooled t25 I thought at the time there seemed to be bits missing at the rear where the cables meet the air flaps ,I ordered the cables and the fittings but the fittings didn't seem to fit anywhere , so just cobbled it tog...

suprize suprize , the window seal leaks oh what a suprize !! , i think i will use the old seal which is still in good nick and re seal with sikaflex .
as i now need to get the widow sorted ASAP .

ive just fitted a jk sliding window to my 1980 devon , its to replace the leaking original . the new window looks very nice and was very well packaged but , when I fitted it along with a new jk window seal it appears that the seal don't fit properly at the body corners , I decided the best course of...

Juat a thought I had a similar ish problem , cutting out when braking !! , it turned out to be the vacuum hoses from the carbs to the servo .
on an air cooled there is a tee piece of unequall bore size made of rubber , it was this that had perished .
replaced this and not a problem since .

im in the process of doing a full body resto on my t 25 devon . the roof hinges on mine were a bit iffy . I cut some reinforcing plates from 4 mm ally sheet and bonded these on to the inside of the fibre glass roof , drilled out the old rivets , and bolted the the whole lot back on with stainless do...

mine are steel bumpers !!!!! , you could mask off and spray the black line only .
if your bumpers are plastic based or fibre glass, you may be better using satin black plastic bumper spray , I did my grille and a few other odds and sods and also has a realy good finish .
