Thanks! Replacing that anyway as another part of the story is that I sawed the protruding end of the stalk off to stop the steering wheel hitting it while I had to hold my full beam on manually for 60 miles in the dark [emoji23]

Headlights stopped working on low beam
Hi - I lost my dash lights and low beam the other eve. Checked for blown fuses and considered checking the relay but couldn’t find it. Fuses were fine so I just imagined it was a worn switch in the stork. On investigating further - I don’t seem to have 12v heading into the fuse. If I draw a 12v supp...

Portable Solar Panel thoughts…
Looking at a couple for going off grid (light use) Any thoughts or recommendations? Sought out these two - the JK one is half the weight of the OffGrid, just a bit sceptical of JK quality. :-) Similar price. https://www.offgridcamper.co.uk/product/120w-12v-lightweight-folding-solar-panel-kit-with-mp...

Re: Fuel line replacement issue / idiot [emoji3]
Just sorting this. My engine bay hose on the feed line is a little short. Is it ok to have a few inches of the small diameter polyamide piping or should I attach a longer hose so there is no polyamide pipe showing beyond the bulkhead grommet? Thanks all https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220716/74ad...

Re: Fuel line replacement issue / idiot :-)
Although I bet your mechanic could.
He did - I purchased the feed and return line kit from Brickwerks….
Thanks all - will get this sorted and hopefully back on the road with confidence.

Re: Fuel line replacement issue / idiot :-)
It’s the first bit of paid work I’ve had done outside MOT stuff. Just assumed a simple job like that would have been straight forward. Cost me a lot of time scratching my head and breaking down tho. Will stick to YouTube and this forum in future
Thx Mocki!

Hi - I’ve been having an issue with with breaking down after short runs and struggling to restart. Spark present, no issue with ignition coil resistance, relatively new amplifier and hall sender. Checked those as assumed it was a problem with hot start. It fires up and runs fine until i stop. Ok sta...

Tiny pin in distributor / hall sender
Anyone know where I can get a replacement pin that shot out when dismantling and can’t be found [emoji2957][emoji23] It was a solid small one and the replacement hall sender has a hollow split pin. It not sure if it’s the right replacement and don’t want to jam it in in case not. https://uploads.tap...
