Re: Square headlamps

Fozzie, and your L/H/D lamps are perfectly legal (will pass the MOT) as long as beam deflectors are correctly fitted and don't effect the light intensity significantly. The most common complaint from owners is that the lights just aren't bright enough and this is usually fixed by fitting relays wit...

Square headlamps

Are rhd square headlamps a direct fit for left hand ones?
And would the only benefit fitting them on a lhd vehicle be that you don't have to put on the beam deflectors?

Re: Carat alloy wheel nuts help

Nope that is not safe. You may have the incorrect nuts, what face do they have (radius or cone)? Steel wheel nuts have radius and the carats have cone. Those nuts do not look like they have 7 turns engaged. Have you got the wheels sat on the hubs correctly, make sure that they are not sat on the tw...

Re: newbie: child seating question

Hi, welcome to the forum. You can fit three point belts into the rear. https://www.brickwerks.co.uk/rear-seatbelt-kit-t3.html You can also fit isofix mounts. We recently put a car seat into the back and had three point belts fitted. its a pain if you want to regularly roll the bed out because getti...

Re: Eberspacher Night Heater

Ahhhh! worth a try mate. Yes the large 'under-step' box houses all the gubbins .. the two large pipes going to the rear of the box are air supply and heat into the van (the cold supply, which is drawn from inside the van, also carries the wiring to the blow heater) The glowplug/igniter can just be ...

Re: Eberspacher Night Heater

Hi Fozzie....have you checked the fuse in the bottom of the control relay? situated next to the black box (charger) I think you have to remove some woodwork to access but the 'large' control relay has a small glass fuse in its base. The other point is that the ebber draws around 8 amps when in its ...

Re: Eberspacher Night Heater

No ignition, so it purges the combustion chamber for half a minute. Pump pumping fuel? Glowplug glowing? Sorry I'm a bit of novice when it comes to these it starts up and stops after about 30 seconds i know that, how will I know if the pump is pumping fuel or if the glow plug needs changing? Thanks
