Did you decide what to do Wes?
I was planning on doing this this weekend on my 1.9, and have never heard anyone suggest that it can't be done at home before.

Waeco CRX-50 fridge
I'll be removing the old and inefficient three way fridge from our '84 Westfalia soon, and replacing it with a Waeco CRX-50. For those that have done it, did anyone also use the flush mount frame? It seems expensive, but looks like it would finish it off very nicely. My only concern would be that it...

Indicator dash tell tale not always working
Odd indicator question - With the ignition off the indicator dash tell tale flashes correctly, as do the indicators. I was thinking of mounting it in the r...

Early T25 fusebox upgrade?
Has anyone considered changing out an early T25 fusebox for the later ce1 (or ce2) combination relay and fusebox? I'm researching the headlight relay upgrade for our 1984 US Vanagon, and think that a ce1 fusebox would be a much neater solution. I'm guessing that it's likely to be a lot of work, but ...

Fitting a Sterling Alternator to Battery Charger - layouts?
In preparation for the imminent arrival of our '84 Vanagon from the US, I'm planning to buy a Sterling Alternator to Battery Charger - http://campervanculture.com/shop/sterling-power-alternator-to-battery-charger-12v-80a/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; This will then be cou...
