Re: Jacking points

The jacking points are also the designed lifting points for a vehicle hoist, so plenty strong enough. The jacking points are NOT used as lifting points with a vehicle hoist, the contact pads are placed on the crossmember inwards of both front and rear roadside jacking points that is where the stren...

Re: Early Slding door Catch fouling on door card

The photos from both vans with upholstered door card shows that the door cards are thicker than the originals, the original card should sit in to the shallow recess of the door, the original factory vinyl is very thin so when it wraps around the edge of the card it doesnt make the overall size of th...

Re: Help with removal of nearside brake hub

If its the original nut it should be the lower torque setting being an early van so should be easy with a scaffold pole over a strong breaker bar, give the exposed  threads a good clean if they are rusty.

Re: Condensation

I started to focus on humidity about 10 years ago with our local newspaper giving results for the previous day then i  clicked onto the BBC weather site and can now see todays and future days humidity predictions, the lowest i have seen in Jersey was 26% during a heatwave , at the moment its the opp...

Re: Condensation

That's awesome, I'm a little obsessed with relative humidity in the home too. I can't see your picture though- broken link? Dont get too obsessed with humidity in the home,70 % is fine, some people think it should be 50% but thats not natural and would need lots of heating and dehumidifying to keep...
