Westfalia pop top canvas replacement

I have been looking for a replacement Westfalia pop top canvas( one window, grey); they seem to be in short supply. Has anyone had experience with the ones made/supplied by NLAVW?  i.e fabric strength, front window zips and fit etc. the price is pretty good at the moment.

Re: Tyre recommendation

Cobblers :It's a joy to drive on them and they were really not expensive (£55 each).

Can you say where you got them at that price and presumeably you paid extra for fitting?
Any other suggestions as BF Goodies are too expensive.

Re: Mauritania off road

To Taigagreen, When I read your first posting, I thought you were being sarcastic, but now I and other readers of this forum know differently. Since you`ve taken the moral high ground,I presume that you have also conveyed your displeasure to the organisers/participants of the charity rallies such as ...

Re: That old prop vibe thing.....

For years I suffered this problem, even with a different propshaft (complete with rubber doughnut) on. I have virtually cured it by putting a large diameter jubilee clip mid way down the prop and by randomly rotating it, have effectively "tuned "out the vibrations. It`s a bit trial and erro...

Re: Coney Farm April Fools Event Reborn

Thanks to all who were involved for a great weekend. I really should know by now not to abuse my vehicle like this; but you can`t not have a go can you! Lucky nothing broke, but having occasional 4 wheel drive is a bit of a challenge at times.( Must spend out on a new VC sometime ) .

Re: Diesel £1.35/litre; now its getting serious ..........

Today I had to fuel up again, same place, and Diesel was £1.37.9 per litre! Cost seem to vary quite a lot depending where you are. Any fresh ideas for fuel savings for all (PETROL AND DIESEL) Syncros?

Diesel £1.35/litre; now its getting serious ..........

Having just fuelled up at £1.35 a litre for Diesel I think it`s time to think about fuel economy. The Syncro is already lugging around a lot of extra weight compared to a normal T25 so is at a bit of a disadvantage to start with. So apart from the obvious things like going easy on the throttle has an...

Re: Fuel Prices

When VAT was temporary reduced to 15% a 2% duty was added to fuel to offset the reduction in Tax collected from motorists.(some say 2p/litre,I`m not sure) Now that VAT has risen back to 17.5% this "hidden"tax has NOT been removed. There was a petition protesting about this, but that has jus...
