Speedo Cap Gone (Again)
Sorry if this is a daft question. My new speedo cap (square hole in centre) has fell off never to be seen again after only doing about 5 miles. It didn't seem as tight as the original which had fell off the week before. I tapped the new one on with a rubber mallet but thats not made it stay on. Coul...

Re: Early Gear Linkage Reconnection - Shift Linkage Housing?
After some head scratching and I now have four forward gears plus a reverse again thankfully. I ask myself is it a tighter shift gate after spending over £130 on new parts, answer I don't think so.

Early Gear Linkage Reconnection - Shift Linkage Housing?
https://i.imgur.com/usDPHLo.jpg The slop in the gear change finally drove me to go for a refurb. As I have an early van with a 12mm gear stick, air cooled manual, I selected the below parts I thought would help fix the problem from Brickwerks. What has thrown me now when its all apart is my sh...

Re: Leaking Gearbox
Just to let you know Aidan Talbot's fix to fit his oversize thrower worked a treat and me plus a pal had it all done within four hours. Thanks Aidan once again.

Re: Leaking Gearbox
Sadly after parking up after returning from Dubs in the Dales this weekend the dreaded leak has reappeared. So the leak stop didn't work after all. Just ordered a new seal tonight however was wondering since the leak only returned after a long journey if there was a breather and it was blocked could...

Re: Leaking Gearbox
I added both the Wynn's and Barr's leak stop treatments to the gearbox then topped the gear oil up on Friday (yes both but I am desperate). I then drove 5 miles and checked for leaks, none apparent. I then drove 8 miles and stopped for 40 mins, small leak the size of a Viscount biscuit. This was sti...

Leaking Gearbox
Coming back from the VW event at Elscrick at the weekend my gearbox sprung a leak which I guess is the input shaft seal. While over the last two years the engine has been out more times than I care to remember I was wondering what the easier way to change it A:engine out or B: box out? In the meanti...

My perfect bodywork is now not so perfect as it bent the bottom edge in and and cracked where the lower repair panel had be...

Re: What Carb Do I Have on My 2ltr Aircooled T25
It has R6657 stamped on to the base lip which when Googled some else says its "looks almost identical to weber". Question still remains which rebuild kit do I buy?

Starts First Time Runs for 5 Mins then Chucks it?
