First time newbie with electric hookup
Hi all, sadly I've had to cancel my first trip away in camper but have encouraged my wife to carry on and take our boys. We have booked a site with electric hookup but I just wanted to know what we can or can't use without draining battery. I'm assuming just the power from the domestic plug sockets ...

Dash board/lower console removal
Hi, can anyone tell me how to remove the lowermost part of the dash board. The piece directly in front of the gearstick and below the heater sliders. Do I just pull it? I can't see any retaining screws anywhere.
Thanks for your help.

Re: Replacement pilot fuel/air jet
Hi cjh & kev Quick post befor work. Thanks for replies. The mechanic working on the van has said it looks like someone has been in the carb and has made a mess of trying to remove jets. He's presuming they were trying to clean it. Apparently the head of on of the jets is fairly chewed up and is ...

Re: Replacement pilot fuel/air jet
Thanks for reply CJH, I was beginning to think my post wasn't visible. I'll look into your suggestions. Is it beyond the realms of possibility that someone on here might have an old carb/part carb that may have the bits I need? I'd be very happy to pay.
Thanks again for reply

Replacement pilot fuel/air jet
Hi, can anyone tell me if it is possible to buy just a pilot jet for a pier burg carb. I'm not too hot on these yet and I'm struggling to find a supplier.
Thanks in advance

rubber trim where rear of hightop meets body of vehicle?
Hi, I have an 1989 Autosleeper hightop. I'm trying to find replacement trim for where the lower lip of the hightop meets the body just above the tailgate. Is this a specific item or does anyone have suggestions of alternatives?
Thanks
Jim
Thanks

Re: New member hello
Blimey aj, don't put more fear and doubt in my head. It's still running although I think a good service is in order. Anyone know if I can buy a water pump replacement kit? By that I mean I need to change water pump and suppose I need or should replace associated gaskets, seals gauges etc whilst I'm ...

Re: New member hello
Hi aj, I tried to replace with a new rotor arm, but the one I bought looked correct on the top but was wrong size hole on bottom, too small. It looks quite a complicated rotor arm, is it worth replacing with an "ordinary" one?

Thanks organic, I'll take you and others advice and go check cap again. Whilst here, can anybody tell me/ show a pic of where the carb "throat" is when I remove the black plastic plate above carb which is held on with three bolts. Thanks

Thanks for the welcome evil noodle, I'm looking after my sons friends dog this weekend, called noodle! Boid, thanks for pic, it says it's the firing order for an air cooled, is my 1.9 dg not water cooled? It's a 1989? What possessed me to buy something that needs some mechanical knowledge is beyond ...
