A bead of silicon sealant from inside. If you are able to get to, it will be neater as it will be covered up by the trim and the mattress.

Thank you. I wasn’t going to try to repair just incase it split on me. Just ordered a new one anyway. Thanks again

Expansion tank
Hihi folks. Am I right in thinking there is a early one with a lager outlet than the newer one that has a smaller out let? Mine has a small split in the tank and it needs replacing. Originally a 85 dg unless I’m able to safely repair it? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230816/d3741ed630a60bd017ff...

Re: The great carb debate
As long as it’s running well, why change? I found my old dg ran well on that carb. Maybe a little more juicy but not really noticeable. Precious metals classic cars in Billericay for a good mechanic. Good luck

1985 1.9 Autosleeper Fuel tank
It’s an open tank on my understanding for the dg. 30l is half a tank. 60l full. I would be looking at fuel pump first. But the wise oracles will I’m sure come to hand too enlighten us all.

Re: 1985 1.9 Autosleeper Fuel tank
If you have flow from the outlet this proves inside the tank is not blocked.
Yes the mechanical pump can start to play up when it gets tired.

Re: 1985 1.9 Autosleeper Fuel tank
Sounds more like blocked filter or poo pump. Climb under and take the fuel line off the tank to see if you have flow for peace of mind. Note you will probably have petrol spilling everywhere so be careful. When did you last change fuel lines and filter? Electric pump or original? Sent from my iPhone...

Upgraded roof beds
I would have to make a frame for it. Hence a lot of work involved. Yes not much room after bedding.

Upgraded roof beds
Hihi I have a super Viking roof that I’ve changed so it has x2 double beds, and we all sleep up there but I want to upgrade the mattress. I am thinking of going with some kind or inflating type but it needs to fold up so it can be stored up there. At the mo I have 25-30mm foam (standard) and then I ...

I’m not sure but I was under the impression that it increases airflow to the engine
