Karmann Gipsy
Hello, I've seen a Gipsy advertised and wondered if anyone has any advice on what pit falls to look for? I love my camper, but hubby has recently said he doesn't like sleeping in it as it's too small
I don't want a modern camper and wondered if the Gipsy was worth looking at?
Thanks in advance

Re: Children’s cab cot bed?
Thank you all, the photos really help, as I didn't want to wrestle something out and find the headrest was damaged
The company I bought it from is sure it should fit so will try again now we're back home from a short trip away in the van

Re: Children’s cab cot bed?
Here you go.. https://nlavw.com/interior/106-adjustable-child-cab-bunk-for-t2-split-window.html You need to take out the seat headrests to fit it. And the self tapping screws that come with it will likely be useless , so take them to a hardware shop and get some harder ones to match. Other than tha...

Body work and respray in Cheshire area
Hi there, Can anyone recommend a good body workshop that also has the facility to do some repraying for me in the Cheshire area? There's some seam rust/rot on our van, I'm more than happy to rub it down and see what's behind, but think it would be more economical in the long run to sort it properly ...

Will give it a go, thank you

Re: Strange whine
The sound does change slightly, but not when related to braking or accelerating as far as I can work out. I did wonder about the radiator fan, but took it out at the weekend and turned the fan off, didn't seem to be related to the radiator fan as that only seems to kick in when the engine gets warm.

Re: Strange whine
[ No, I have had whine off the crown and pinion before, it's not affected gear change. Try an take a video, I know sound is not great on a mobile but may help. Also get somebody to sit in the back while it's driven to see if they can tell if the whine is louder in the back or front.[/quote] Thank yo...
