I would of said look at accelerator pump or float height on the carb, but as you have changed the carb then that p#sses on that...
what about the auto choke? Does that work ok?

Hi Jonathan, I'd second this.....as first port of call you can take the emulsion tube out from the top of the carb and blast it with some carb cleaner or if it's gummed up use a really thin bit of wire, use a flat screwdriver that fits snug to remove it otherwise you could damage it as its soft met...

Be cautious of any fluids you put on these as they are ABS plastic and solvent could/will melt them, so will the heat from aggressive sanding, such as the Dremel, as you have found out :shock: Make sure your paints and primers are of the same type eg: acrylic, cellulose. as these react with each ot...

So, by moving the little switch mine is off central, down for on all time, and up for on when door opens with a soft off after about 10 seconds when door closed.

Is she on choke for the 5 mins of running? so as that comes off she falters and stops? does she start again for another 5 or is that it for the day? You've pretty much replaced the whole ignition side of things, I think I would start looking at the black art of Carb.... If a pierburg 2E3 have you...

Had a word with my pet MOT tester this morning and he said it used to be an issue, but it's not on the system anymore or at least it doesn't come up on the system when searched for.

if you look under the top rim there is a small breather hole that opens the top of the diaphragm to atmosphere, clean it out and you can use it to check if the diaphragm is sound.
