Re: Electric fuel pump problem

No live at pump when ignition switched off. Took live direct to pump and pump is dead each time it happened. Each time a new pump was fitted it ran OK I even took it for MOT and drove it back. But after standing for a few days or more its gone again. This started last december and during lockdown I ...

Re: Electric fuel pump problem

Relays checked and now OK but have failed a few times during the period thus thinking there must be a short circuit somewhere. I intend to check behind the fuse box as it gets damp with a leak when raining and according to the wiring diagram a double connector is there somewhere.

Re: coolant and petrol gauges reading low

Checked voltage at the regulator today and it was 8.3v. So i will change the regulator and try again. I am told that the regulator has to mounted in reverse or upside down as it is a later one. Thanks for the info.

Re: coolant and petrol gauges reading low

Thanks for the reply, I will check that. I have a replacement regulator which I found after buying it for the last time it happened but didn't need it as it was a poor earth in the end.

coolant and petrol gauges reading low

Coolant problems again, temp and fuel gauges reading low ? voltage regulator. Thought I had fixed it by cleaning up connection to the coolant sensor and all was well until the next use when it was the same. Checked all earthing points to the engine end today then noticed that the coolant light does ...

Re: Single din Head unit in T25

I have had one fitted in my van for some while now. Had to fit some spacers as the depth is deep especially if it has a dvd too, although its better with spacers because it allows the screen to fold back to a better angle. Tons of wiring involved but works OK even if the sygic sat nav is a bit poor....

Cheers for input chaps, I pulled off the level sensor plug and the light flashed. Put back on and all is OK now. I just ordered a module 42 and it came today, but am glad it was a bad contact I have now cleaned it up and at least I have spare now for future. All I have left to do now is sort out the...

Coolant light

suddenly noticed the coolant light is not flashing on startup. The temp gauge is working OK and the fuel gauge too. Could it be relay 43 or Led gone? Not had this fault before.

Re: WBX full of mayo?

I have some mayo in the sump Not as bad as that and it seems to appear when the engine is standing in winter. As soon as ambient temp drops it appears. Last year the oil cooler was changed but this winter the same has happened. I thought it might be the lower seals when things start contracting? Thi...
