Im in exactly the same position, no cushions up top so will be really interested to see measurements :)
Im also intrigued to see how close a fit Ikea mattresses will be to the original dimensions.

Im thinking of doing exactly the same thing, the only thing ive really found so far are the Magna or poppered blinds at Delilahs.

I have the same problem so that is a great find,just an FYI using chrome browser theres a little icon in the address bar that will translate the site for you into English.It translates very well :)

Yes thanks ,propex is on the list of 'winter projects' .Anyway it wasn't a waste of time 35 years of crud cleaned under the dash,wiring tidied and a few other things cleaned up ,also if i need to remove the dash again i know how its done and reckon i can do it pretty quickly. Thanks for that ,i have taken a couple of photos tonight ,ill upload them tomorrow,but you are right,im fairly sure it hasn't got a blower ,the plastics haven't been changed .It was the heater panel with the switch in it for a blower that was throwing me.

The whole idea of restoring the van was also to keep it on the road as well so we could enjoy summer in her ,sooooo MOT time,i knew it would fail but it failed spectacularly particularly rear suspension areas which due to underseal and waxoil over the years wasnt all that obvious to spot. So anyway ...

Rust Bus revival

Thought i would post up some pics and progress on Betty the rust bus .. She is an 1980 air cooled 2.0 Didn't pay a lot for her initially, but i also went into it with my eyes open,the whole idea was to bring one back to life and who needs savings anyway..... I have fitted a fair few carpets mostly in the Mini's I have owned and one of the best tips I ever got was to use WD40 to remove any adhesive from carpets. Worked an absolute dream although im not sure how effective it will be on 30 yr old glue!

Ok first off I know the correct ways of doing this, but I wondered if in theory this is possible. I have two batteries in the van, the main one under the drivers seat and a leisure battery under the passenger seat, the leisure battery eventually goes flat and I need to recharge it.I cant get the van...
