I just moved to the dark side again and going to try another t4. I had one before an early westy 1.9 but it was a bit cramped inside with the full camping interior and the 1.9 td engine was very underpowered and noisy being up front . Moved on to a T4 Westfalia California last year its a 1.9 TD pop top. Hi They did not all come with rev counters but if it is water cooled it should have temp Gauge

I am of the opinion that using the snorkel is superfluous with most of our diesel vans - none of them seem to have the tinware intact any more so can breathe quite easily. HI it was a bigger K&N than yours and had a plastic cone/cover over the mesh part and was attached to the snorkel, I think the manifold is the one that was on the engine came from a seat as i said the engine was fitted when i bought the van . The noise was like a loud drone and very noisey chang...
