Re: Industrial carpet

Just google for a local carpet supplier, we have a few that do offices etc round here and often throw out the sizes that could use in the van, if they are open when I finish work I will see if they got anything. Failing that will ask my boy if they have any offcuts from one the vans they are doing.

AGG running issues

Well issue is with an AGG that just fitted to my sons T4 (was supposed to go in my T25 but thats another story) It ticks over fine and will rev up to 6k but then dies the moment you come off the throttle, so unable to do basics such as changing gear etc. Have looked at the timing and appears to be c...

Looks a nice enough van, the gears thing is often the selector linkage, is an easy replacement. So what part of sunny London are you in?

Re: 1Y engine or not

They are very easy to swap out, just take bits off one and put on the other. 1Y is a pretty tough motor, just need to make sure it has oil and kept cool.
If you are looking for another engine I have one for sale at moment.

Re: just bought a '90 T25 need advice

Paint it, cover it, do whatever you want as you paid your money for it.
If it is Reimo stuff don't worry about it as they sell all the parts for it still at pretty normal money.

Places like Halfrauds sell chrome spray paint, is pretty good stuff as used it to repair reflectors in old bike lights.

Re: Non VW. Identify this silencer?

That is a cat with exhaust welded on, looks more like mk2 focus performance pipe, is common mod for C-Max our one had similar but was too noisy so put a standard system on and sold it on f0rd forum.

Can't select gears easily, rear link issue?

After the engine and gearbox went back in it seems there is an issue selecting gears, it is difficult to get to neutral or into gear. When looking at the rear linkage it appears that the ball on the selector doesn't meet the cup it sits in. Is there a way to alter this? The clutch works fine as been...
