Agreed... sounds like they didn't bleed the coolant system. It takes loads more coolant than you'd imagine too. If your 1.6 is the JX there's a great thread by Baxter on the brickwerks forum for this. If it is the coolant system that is the problem, If you follow it to the letter you should be fine....

I have a JX and mine was doing the same, it turned out to be the incorrect thermostat in mine though? Wonder if this would be the case for you too.

I work in the print trade and there's a material we use called foamex. It's lightweight but 'fairly' robust, it's moisture resistant and you can cut it with a scalpel. I have a westy high top T25, it's an ugly beast compared to the pop top vans, but I love it and I wouldn't change it.
