Bodywork suggestions
Hi all! Early next year I will have a decent pot of money to get my vwt4 autosleeper hightop some bodywork TLC. It's standard sills and arches and I wanted the whole outside of the van blown over with a fresh coat of paint. Does anybody have any recommendations for garages or people who came be trus...

Re: T4 AAC 2.0L petrol rattling on idle
Right well the top cover is off because I have recently replaced the cambelt and tensioner. Could it be I've done it to tight or lose? The timing is correct or was correct should i say but I've covered a few miles since then. What's your thinking? Timing slip? Tight belt? Sent from my iPhone using T...

T4 AAC 2.0L petrol rattling on idle
Hello, Please don't shout because its a T4 :D its 1997 so should be OK haha Sometimes when approaching lights/roundabout and slowing to a stop the engine starts to make a really loud tapping noise. If I rev the engine the noise goes away and may or may not come back later depending if the van can be...

Re: Whining Gearbox
I have that as I change down, was advised its nothing to worry about as long as I don't drive it like a drag car! It's actually started to disappear after a couple of oil changes and smooth driving.

Coolant Fan question
Hello All, In my van when I bought it I noticed that the previous owner must have had an issue with the fan. Not entirely sure what issue but it has lead them to put a switch inside the van to turn the fan on. My question is that when this is turned on the fan runs constantly, is this ok? so it does...

Haha well I appreciate all of your honesty and to be honest now I've had time to think they are pretty ugly so needless to say I won't be having these either.

Decided against the idea now. However have been offered these for £80. Didn't know whether to take these instead and paint them Matt black. http://i942.photobucket.com/albums/ad262/georgehaworth/272F6AB7-BC70-4807-8615-FF07835AEFEA_zpsjql8udfr.jpg" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fa...

Thanks for the comments guys. He is a mate so I can trial them for a weekend and just give them back if I'm not happy. Need to do some suspension work first.

Toying with the idea, whats the benefits?
Hello! I have been offered a set of Empi wheels with bigger tyres on the back then on the front. Does this offer any improvement or is it just to look better do you think? He told me it drives better but I dont know what to believe. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are if at all, and if anybody ...

Re: T25 1.9 Water Cooled running hot
This is interesting as I have a similar issue, my van used to run at 12 oclock and now runs closer to 2 oclock when warm.
I think I will follow this thread through also to find a fix
I assume this is a fairly common issue judging by the amount of feedback.

Re: Very open question
Your missus knows???? She does and the rule is, I can do what I want in the garage, its my space haha :ok It's when I start working on bits in the kitchen and dining room it may get hairy  Although she liked the idea of using a tailgate in the front room with the TV mounted in the middle!
