Re: 5kw Fuel air heater
This is the only one I have used, if it broke I would buy another one tomorrow, it is in my workshop which is 3200 sq feet, and it heats it up by 15degrees in 2 hours, it is great, I would imagine they are ideal for campervans,

Would it be ok to have 2 different size tyres on the rear .
Or would you carry 2 spare wheels
I am only carrying one spare wheel for the front and hoping I never get a puncture on the back,
if I do I will be driving home slowly

Re: Big wheels
205r16 is quite a bit bigger than the standard tyre size - unless you've fitted a much more powerful engine in your van I'm guessing you're going to be struggling on larger hills. Yes you are right, I went up to Stanley the other night and It did struggle, but It used to struggle anyway, it drives ...

Re: Big wheels
I was told by a friend and my m.o.t. mechanic it would be better for the engine and it would be like having a5 speed gearbox in my t3 .
I know the Speedo will be out with bigger wheels on it because it has happened on my mk1 caddy .

Hi I'v put bigger tyres on the back of my t3, 205 r 16 ,
It seems to be easier on the engine driving it around town
Not that over reving on the engine .
Up and down little hills in south shields
And using the Sat nav for the speed as there is quite a bit of difference from the Speedo

Re: Battery issue
A previous T25 I owned had exactly the same problem. I found the leisure battery charge relay had been incorrectly installed so that if it failed the leisure battery was charged but not the starter battery. In my case, a coil connection had fallen off. Re-wired it as it should have been in the firs...
