Re: Vito rims
If it's good enough for Bernd Jaeger it's okay. He sell a convesion where the fronts are 215/65 R15 and the rears are 235/70 R 15. That keeps the speedo accurate but lowers the revs. See here - http://www.syncro-bernd-jaeger.de/ENGLISH/Schneller/schneller.html thanks. that link shows the AZEV-Alloy...

Re: Big wheels
Hi I'v put bigger tyres on the back of my t3, 205 r 16 , It seems to be easier on the engine driving it around town Not that over reving on the engine . Up and down little hills in south shields And using the Sat nav for the speed as there is quite a bit of difference from the Speedo what profile, ...

Vito rims
I have looked at an archived discussion stating that 16 x 7j 33os is fine for t25. would this still be the case with 215 60 16 on front and 215 75 16 on th rear?
Thanks

Best gearbox for high torque engine
I have a v8 t25. I want to improve the gearing as currently 2000rpm = 40mph with 16" 60 profile tyres. Is the flipped Audi box the best candidate ? Is the final drive better than the best standard t25 box? Will it mate to the vw adapter on my engine? What other bits are required? Doea a company...

Re: Bigger wheels and tyres
Sounds like I will get away with it. I could always get gas shocks if the back bottoms out. Should give me just over 10% better final ratioMocki wrote:I have 16x225x80 on mine , but mine is lifted 25mm all round, and it's still got room for bigger

That's what ' have now all round and thought 80 at the back. Will I get clearance with 7j?marlinowner wrote:Of course you could always fit 60 profile tyres on the front to keep the speedo honest and 80 profile on the back to improve the gearing.

Re: Bigger wheels and tyres
Ideally you want to match the factory diameter tyres so your speedo is accurate. VW fitted 185/82 14", so with a 16" height, 7" width wheel you can have a 205/60 16" tyre which is within a mm of factory dia. and I'll recommend 32psi & 34psi f/r tyre pressures. Sent from my i...

Bigger wheels and tyres
Whats the maximum tyre wheel combination that can be fitted with a standard suspension height. I currently have 16" 7j rims and am guessing van 80 profile tyres. I am trying to achieve a better ratio as have a big engine that revs high Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk https://uploads.tapata...

Re: T25 - 19" wheels
Hi
So if I buy 19 x 8 et 42 what spaces would I need? If the ride height is standard would these fit without fouling?
Thanks in advance
