Re: New starter still giving problems
1.It’s especially important to change the ollyte bush into the gearbox bellhousing as it completes the electrical circuit properly. It’s also important to check the earths trap between chassis and gearbox is intact and each connection clean as well. 2.I relocated my battery to into the left hand bat...

Roof Rack On Devon Moonraker Poptop
Hi guys,
Anyone ever had a roof rack fitted to their Moonraker Poptop please?
I’m just considering one to carry surfboards and kayaks.
Any pictures or recommendations greatly appreciated.

DG knocking and Lossing Power
Hi guys, My DG engine has developed a worrying knock once warmed up. It sounds almost like a solid donk noise, and feels/sounds like she’s only firing on three pots. Had a look through wiki, and cannot find any articles relative to this kind of issue. I’m sure it’s happened to more experienced guys ...

Re: Repairing step
Hi! Steps and battery trays are now included in the new MOT.
My bus passed days before the new MOT and the guy marked up the parts that would have failed under the new rules so that I could get them fixed. The parts included the steps.

Re: Sliding Door Hinge
Hi definitely agree with CovKid. WD40 is not ideal but most people have some available and it does work to clean and free off the hooks but don't rely on it to keep things free and working. Nope! Agree too. I always have my trusty old squeezy can of light oil on the shelf ready for such a job. WD40...

You'll need to increase cable capacity if you really want to make the best of your lights: http://wiki.club8090.co.uk/index.php/VW_Electrics_battery_to_dash" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Cheers Geeza! I did relocate my battery into the engine bay, upgraded the cable from ...

Re: Twin Light Grill Kit
Thanks guys!
I was planning on uprating my lighting loom with relays, so sounds just right.
Best I get onto JK, and ask to be put on the waiting list then.

Twin Light Grill Kit
Guys,
I'd like to have twin lights on Fugly.
Both JK and Heritage sell these kits.
Are they the same?
Are there better quality kits out there?

Sliding Door Hinge
Hi guys, I''ve always had issues with my sliding door not shutting tight first time. I've also noticed that the alloy catch stay that engages over the hook on the door pillar is slightly way being worn away. The door fits nicely if I lean on it at the hinge end as it closes. Has anyone else come acr...

Re: T25 Komet Skylight
I fitted the Fiamma one.
The cutting is only minimal, it's more of a shave on opposite sides of the aperture, very simple.
The Fiamma is a good bit of kit too!
Don't forget to get some good sealant like Sikens.
