Re: New carburettor needed
So, after two and a bit years of trouble free motoring, my pre-carb refurb issue has reared it's ugly head again. Intermittently, the van runs lumpy (hesitant acceleration and loss of power) before stalling every time it idles. Just like it did before the carb was refurbed. Coast VW have adjusted th...

Re: To hubcap or not to hubcap?
picture fitted on page 1 Yeh that one looks lovely, but has the beauty rings. I'm interested to see them fitted without the rings. Can't see the beauty rings myself http://i407.photobucket.com/albums/pp158/normalrules/image.jpg1_16.jpg Ah, I must be being stupid. I thought the white trim were white...

Re: To hubcap or not to hubcap?
there are three bumps on a standard wheel, the standard hub cap clips over them, a bit of a push and it clips home. Not sure about the rover ones they may clip onto the outer rim like the beauty rings, either way you should just push them on. Yes^^ just line them up and push/bang them on, they clip...

Coolant top-up
Evening all
I'm off to Wales with the van and mountain bike tomorrow. Just checked my coolant and the tank on the left hand side isn't full to the top (and from what I understand, it should be).
So, is it just a case of topping up that tank with more coolant, until it is full?

Awning for high top
Looking for a reasonable price drive away awning that'll easily fix to our high top.
Doesn't need to be fancy, just somewhere sheltered for a bit of extra space.
Any recommendations?
