I hv a newly reconditioned engine,what sort of mpg should i be getting at a constant 60mph

My engine is out and in pieces on the work bench,i hv found a 3/4inch blue scorch mark on top of the piston barrel,looks like i need a new engine,
Any recomendations where to buy a 1.9wbx Dg coded

Hi I’m looking for an experienced Mechanic/garage in Lancashire pref on the Fylde coast,to do a Subaru engine conversion to my T25 Westy,regards Craig

T25 Westy 1.9 water cooled LPG, New water pump,thermostat & water pipes to radiator,all hoses checked pressure builds up as per normal,Then boom the van still overheats and blows a cloud of steam as a hose joint gives,I’m now really peed off as the garage keep fixing the problem,I drove 80miles ...

Please post a couple of photos zoomed out a little more,so i can see were you hv put the hole for the cable to run into your van.thankyou

Point me in the Rt direction, I am a 1986 1.9manual T25vanagon from California My side lights work but main lights don't,if I use my indicators the the headlamps flash as if they where indicators,rear signals work but both flash as if warning lights are on,even though the RT flashes brighter or same...

The tank is attatched under the van for the sole use of the cooker & fridge

I have 2 LPG tanks on my van 1 for the cooker/fridge and 1 for the engine,as i cant get fuel into the cooker lpg tank does anybody know of a way to connect the cooker & engine fuel tanks, or is it better to get somebody in the stroud/bristol area to have a look at & service the cooker lpg ta...

Does anybody know why i cant get lpg gas into my tank,ive connected the brass addapter and the gas wont go into the tank,
Alternatively does anybody know of a service center in the Stroud Gloucestershire or Bristol Avon area
