This is exactly what im going to do very soon. ive bought the doner legacy which is an auto. just a couple of questions Did you have to buy a subaru flywheel to replace the auto version if so was it or second hand £500 for a new one sends shockwaves and its cheaper for me to buy anothe...

Solex/Brosol 32-34PDSI (CB Performance kit) Throttle linkage

hi all, Ive been scratching my head down the workshop trying to work out how to set up the throttle cable on my new carbs. They are solex/brosol 32-34 pdsi (cb performance kit) carbs with a center pivot linkage. I have a 2lt ac cu engine and am totally stumped on how i can make this work. if anyones...

a few years ago i made a chimney out of galvanised pipe for a log burner that went in a geodesic dome . not knowing about the fumes it would give off. lets just say that when i had a party in the dome with 30 people it wasnt just the waccy baccy we were getting high off :roll:

early and late stub axles

hi all, Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the difference is between an early front stub axle and a late one. Im told i need to get the late type for my van in order to be able to fit big brakes . Cheers ben

hi zoe, if i was to price that it would come out to around £1440 labour + materials . so £2000 is probably on the money. but then again i havent seen your bus so its hard to price it. id get some more quotes before you make your decision if i were you. ben

Well I managed to get a polishing mop and have used it and it looks great thanks for all the advice . I'm not finished yet but it will take alot less time with the polisher

hi , just wondering if there is anyone with the knowledge about cutting and polishing paintwork. i have recently finished spraying my bus in direct gloss . all the doors have come up with a nice glass finish so they wont take much work. just a light cut with g3 and a good buff. but some of the body ...

halfords paint is rubbish. ive had lots of problems in the past with it reacting badly . the only solution is to bury the stuff deep underground so that no one will ever find it and go to a proper car paint suppliers :ok

go down to your local body shop suppliers and pick up some seam sealer in a tube for a mastic gun and also some brushable seam sealer in a tin. the main cause of seam rot comes from the back in the arches.
