Re: Aerosol Paint Types

Check out the motor factors local to you as you should find some have paint mixing facilities and can mix to your...

Re: Help re-fitting seat lever springs
Thanks for the pic David,
I have that bar thru the base ok, it's the springs, one fitted on either side, that push that bar down into the notches in the seat rail that I'm having trouble with. Looks as though they may be missing on your seat too.
It's these springs....

Help re-fitting seat lever springs
Hi all, I just had the passenger seats out of my SA van to repair a wire threatening to poke thru the leather on the seat base. I managed to sort that out OK but reassembling the rails onto the seat base I cannot for the life of me figure out how to refit the springs that keep downward pressure on t...

Seems my advice was also duff, as I too did not know they were hydraulic tappets on these engines - sorry.

Re: Propex Heatsource smell + noise
Whilst I have one of these fitted I've never needed to work on it so I'm no guru. However, it would seem to me that the exhaust (and inlet) are fitted incorrectly as they should be horizontal or preferably slope down a little. They should definitely not rise upwards as yours both do. This would allo...

Yep, 2 screws just behind the gear lever, my plastic caps are long gone but there should be 2 long self tapers beneath your caps.

Re: Different sliding door "catches"
I'm open to correction on this but I don't believe the differences you see are to do with the pre/post '84 divide, I currently own both so I'm familiar with the changes. On the pre '84 (and possibly later ones too) there are also differences between commercial and passenger models. On a prior camper...
