Have a small hair line crack on my oil filler pipe ,about 3 inch from sump end . question is can it be gas welded or do I need a new one. van is a 1.6 td thank for your help

hard frost last night went out to start van ,battery flat as a flute. before starting no lights on at all ,after trying to start noticed all indicators lights stayed on, no flashing .took all bulbs out ,battery now on charge .when put bulbs back in massive power drain. any help much appreciated .ste...

Help and advice needed please. Symptoms: Glow plug light came on whilst driving. Lost power (cut out). Tried ignition - nothing there. Turned side lights off and tried to restart engine and it started. Kept cutting out during the journey, lost power about 30 seconds after the glow plug light came on...
