Yeah - so pin 7 has a signal on it but I think it’s just the signal from the ‘reader’ - don’t seem to get any reply from the ecu.
Busy going down the rabbit hole of k-line protocol now - think I may regret starting this!!

OBD Comms not working
Trying to connect obd reader to an AGG installation; The OBD connector is stashed under the dash (so I assume that this means it is probably connected via the immobiliser?) (as you can tell, this was not my install); I am seeing 12V on the 12V line, gnd on ground, and 12V on the K-line when the igni...

Re: Fitting Wolfy Exhaust
I did see those spacers but I think adding that spacer makes it worse as it would move the LHS mount further to the left and I need it to go further to the right? Or is my thinking upside-down?

Fitting Wolfy Exhaust
Hoping for a little sanity check before I decide to just add spacers; I am fitting a wolfy exhaust to an AGG engine; The left and right exhaust brackets have been fitted to the engine but when I offer up the exhaust there appears to be a definite gap between the 'left bracket' and the mating plate o...

Re: Dash woes... Hardwired to self destruct
Hi - I feel slightly responsible for this one !! Sounds like all of the items driven by the 12V line have stopped working but not the items driven by the 10V regulator i.e. the coolant guage (which itself is powered by the 12V line) - so a little strange; If the coolant guage works then there must ...

DK Gdearbox lost 4th gear
Hi all - seem to have lost 4th gear in my DK gearbox - shifter selects 4th, but there is no connection at all between engine and wheels; and some strange noises coming from the gearbox (in all gears) which suggests that this is gearbox rather than gear selection. (Have also been under the van and ma...

Re: Installing CRX50 fridge - where do the screws go?
Option A is what I did so nice to hear that is correct !!
It's a cracking fridge by the way - enjoy!
(Just need to keep those solar panels working to keep it chugging along)

Re: Can you check my wiring?
Assuming this is a 12v system? Shouldn’t those two solar panels be wired in parallel (rather than series) into the charge controller; also it was my understanding that all of the ‘loads’ should be either run through the charge controller or be controlled by the charge controller; What is the Victron...

Re: Temperature gauge light.
Is it high-beam that makes the temp light go off or just 'normal' low-beam?
If you have high-beam on - does the blue 'high-beam' light come on?

Re: Speedometer problem
I would suggest that if the speedo is sticking at a speed even when the vehicle is stationary then that points to a problem with the speedo unit (rather than the cable that goes to the wheel) The below website has a nice explanation of how a mechanical speedo works - and suggests that the speedcup/s...

Re: Voltage sensing split charge relay
'Probably not' - I say probably because it depends on which split charge relay you have used? Is it triggered by the signal from the alternator, or does it sense voltage levels and trigger that way? If so, do you know if it senses voltage on just the starter battery or on the leisure battery too? Fo...

Re: Tailgate not sitting right after fitting new seal
Apologies - just seen that there have been more replies to this post; seal was from Brickwerks so assuming decent quality (as their stuff tends to be); I’ll try removing the seal and see what fit is like but pretty sure that it will be good as I don’t recall seeing the tailgate sitting weirdly befor...

Re: Tailgate not sitting right after fitting new seal
Thanks for replies;
I’m not sure either of the rubber stops are actually making contact - they are both a bit perished?!
I’ll try the twist idea - when in doubt apply a bit of brute force!!
Cheers !!

Tailgate not sitting right after fitting new seal
Just fitted new tailgate seal - and now the left lower corner of the tailgate looks like it is being forced open a little (<1cm) so it looks like it is not fully closed (but latch is holding it). I can't work out what it is that I have done - I have tried to make sure that the seal is seated properl...

Re: 1983 T25 Temperature Gauge Replacement
Have you tried removing the #42 relay (which is the one that drives the flashing light for low coolant circuit) - remove this and see what happens - it doesn’t explain the fault but it would be interesting. The solid on LED is strange behaviour - they usually fail so that they flash all the time rat...
