Sorry to hear your whoes but not all aircooleds leak. I have 2 x 2.0l cu engined t25 and both are dry as a bone underneath. I did it myself using quality parts from brickwerk. I ain't no mechanic either. It quite an easy job to do :ok good luck in getting it sorted

Re: wind out awning

Hi have a 81 leisure drive high top. I just ground a couple of mm s off the brackets that clamp into the gutter rather than cutting the fibreglass high top. Worked fine :ok

Re: fan heaters, what type have you

Why not use a convector heater. They give out loads of heat and are a lot lighter than an oil filled rad. My 400w convector is more than enough to keep the van warm and is the same size of a fan heater :ok

Bodyshop needed Sheffield area

After a local scrote decided to re arrange the rear of my camper I am in need of a local body shop to Rotherham. It is a leisure drive hi top so not all spray booths can accommodate the hight. Recommendations greatly appreciated

Re: towing

My 2.0 l Aircooled pulls a teardrop like its not there that includes 4 people and all our stuff admittedly at tractor speed up slack hill in Matlock but happily cruises at 65 on the motorway. Go for it

Thanks for the advice. Delft looks great for the first night or two. (Close to the port) just looking for a lazy week somewhere different than England. :ok
