It's a 1983 1.9 dg water cooled transporter.....I might put the rubber piping on then and give it a go at least with it been low-ish pressure maybe a jubilee clip or 2 might hold it on?

havent looked at speedshop ones but they can build one for no more than 500 quid fitted but they said if there was an example of an simpler system that works then they could do it a lot cheaper! so just wondered what other people had :)

Exhaust confusion!

Hi all

we have an a Reg 1983 camper which needs a new exhaust system, i have been reading wiki and i see that we should have the early exhaust fitted however it appears that we actually have the later one fitted, is this normal?? why would it be like this?

yeh it is indeed, we are planning to keep it that way too we like the idea of being able to get out both doors especially with a little on it will save tramping through the awning every time! :)
