Re: Bodyshop (re-spray) Recommendations (Cheshire/Telford/ Notts
Jim used to but not anymore. In fact as far as I am aware he is moving away from T25s to concentrate on other things. He told me that my van would be the last he would work on -in fairness it is quite a lot of work! Am sorted now as the van will be going to Mario to do the TDi conversion and he will...

Bodyshop (re-spray) Recommendations (Cheshire/Telford/ Notts
Happy New Year to one and all. Can anyone recommend a company who can re-spray a 1990 Westy California hi-top either in the Cheshire/Telford/Midlands area or Nottingham area? The van is currently with Jim Painter (Nantwich) who has nearly finished the bodywork and the van will soon be ready for coll...

Re: Socket Set - Recommendations
Thanks all for the advice. I ended up getting a Draper retro set , 3/8, 40 pieces from a local store that had just opened up and it was at less than half price. To the untrained eye it looks decent quality cos its heavy! I used it in anger on the van for the first time yesterday and it did the job.

Socket Set - Recommendations
Hi All, In the process of removing the interior of my Westy California I've come to the conclusion that I need a socket set of some description. As you can probably tell, I am not DIY minded (although willing to learn) and having a search on the web there are various shapes and sizes of socket sets ...

Re: LPG Tank Westy California- Emptying
In which case may I ask one further question! The pipe that runs from the top of the tank to connect into the cooker etc is that the one and the same pipe that appears to be attached (from the photo) onto the regulator? i.e. do i need to undo the pipe at the regulator and feed it through the tank or...

Re: LPG Tank Westy California- Emptying
Yep that's the one. So, to be clear and to avoid killing myself, the valves are closed when the orange lever says 'zu' as in the photo you gave me the link to and you turn the brass dial clockwise to 'zu'?
Thanks for your help!

Re: LPG Tank Westy California- Emptying
One valve on the tank is in the closed position - the other valve you refer to, where is it on the tank, as looking at my tank I only see the main on/off valve?

LPG Tank Westy California- Emptying
This is quite possibly a very daft question. I'm removing all the interior out of our Westy California which is an interesting learning experience before it heads off to the body shop. I've arrived at removing the cooker and sink unit but can't remove it until I disconnect the gas pipe that appears ...

Order of Removing Interior from Westy California
Hi All, I'm beginning to take the interior of my 1990 Westy California hi-top out ready to send the poor girl off to have all the body work sorted. Thanks to folks' help on here I have various manuals to help me but this is the first time that I have attempted something like this and am finding it a...

Re: Removing Interior from 1990 Westy California
Hi whereabouts on the web can I find them as being a tad dim I haven't been able to find them. I'm about to shift the van up to Gary Wilkie (restoman) to do the work, as he is reasonably local to me but I must confess I'm feeling a bit daunted by the whole thing and don't actually know where to star...
