Re: 1.9 DG WBX Running Problem

I can only agree with the fuel issue scenario, I have had similar problems and it turned out to be crystals in the float chamber, give it full throttle and enough fuel will enter the chamber to dislodge the crystals from the fuel exit hole, however they will just settle back down and block it again....

Re: How to remove a rounded off brake calliper bleed nipple

If there is enough meat left on the nipple try filling a couple of flats on it to gain a purchase,

Re: Storage in t25

We have put a landrover cubby box between the seats, you can get leather top ones, locking lids and comes with a drinks holder fits neatly and still gives room for the handbrake. Does not really impead from getting in to the rear. Keep your dash tidy by not having a dash tidy. Sent from my F3111 usi...

It is also important to note that you should not use car washing liquid to clean your dishes.

Re: Bill of Materials for Land Rover Wing Mirrors required

Just fitted some to ours, made some brackets and thought if I sprayed them the van colour they would look better, they don't so I will be doing the same when the weather improves, just make sure the backing plate is substantial as the mirrors take a lot of force to get to the right angle. Re: Play in steering column

Surprised a loose column was only an advisory, also check your sheer bolts, if your dash has been out at some point then they may not have been tightened up enough

I keep meaning to get around to making a docking station for our sat nav, with all of the cables hidden.

Re: Rattles from dashboard

If I fixed one rattle I would only notice another, but I must admit my dashboard doesn't rattle so what's loose.

Re: Door mirrors

I was forced to fit a cheap wingmirror last summer as a quick fix prior to our hols, the wingmirror is now somewhere on the M6 as it fell off without warning, it wasn't the mechanism at fault but the cheap plastic moulding all I have got left is the foot plate with a hole in it, I am going to look i...

Re: combi boiler problem

I spent more time looking around our van then I spent looking at our new house prior to purchase ,location was our main concern, I think I have spent the same amount of time working on both.

Perhaps the stat was faulty and had been linked out to make the heating come on.

Re: Cheaper budget tyres

Noise would be the lowest thing on my list when buying tyres for the van. Paramount would be stopping distance and grip. Budget tyres offer very little in that dept. compared to a European made tyre for a European climate in my experience. Pirelli Goodyear Michelin have to make tyres according to E...

Re: After some plumbing advice on shower

Note the gypsum in plaster corrodes copper pipe, cover your pipework with plastic covers if using plaster, note the corrosion , did not effect the old copper pipe as much but the new thin wall stuff
