Thanks for all the advice. Grower and Lee don’t stock the units any more. I have ordered a replacement from Joachim Hintersberger Aircooledshop in Germany for €47. Fingers crossed!

Hi All. I have tried and failed to locate a new choke pull-down unit from the usual sources. The one I have clearly has a perished diaphragm. Is there a way around this problem? Can you blank off the vacuum tube and adjust the choke flap using the tiny Allen screw to get roughly the correct opening ...
