Ok stoopid question time... I have have been looking at a tdi conversion and I saw that the Renault UN1 gearbox does 78mph in top gear at 3000 revs. I assume if I leave the aaz in the engine will struggled to turn the gearbox efficiently and I would need at least 90bhp to turn it properly, ie withou...

I have done it now. There are some bubbles in the pipe but it still runs fine. I assume that's not a problem? Thanks btw

Thanks all - as ever really helpful! :D As it happened, after an hour of using a coat hanger to try to get in and get the door lock code I asked a T25 owning mate to pop over with his keys and they opened the drivers side door! OK vw say they cant cut the keys from that far back anymore and as I cant get into the vehicle I assume its a locksmith job. Would I need a specialist auto locksmith?

I have managed to lose my keys to my H reg. Does anyone know if VW can get the correct keys cut or know anything I can do? Typically I have left it on the road and just sorned it!
