Help needed with DF to DG engine change
Evening, I am currently swapping my DF engine to a DG engine and it looks like I need to change the throttle cable as my old one has a solid piece at the end which won’t fit the pierburg carb.
Is this correct or has anyone done this and got any advice please?
Thanks in advance. Andy.

Re: DG engine vacuum hoses?
Thanks Steve, is it better to blank it off then or have it connected?
I am going to be fitting this engine into my van which currently has a DF fitted if that makes any difference.

DG engine vacuum hoses?
Evening all
On a 1900 DG engine where do the 2 vacuum lines go to from the base of the carb please?
I can see that one goes to the distributor vac advance but not sure where the other should go.
Thanks Andy

Re: Chicken switch early t25
When I put one in my van about 10 years ago I got a standard dash switch for a heated rear screen and fitted it using some piggy back connectors at the radiator switch (fitted in original rubber boot) and some 2 core cable (so double insulated too). Super simple and all looks original with no need t...

1984 Leisuredrive Seat Material
Hi all
I need to recover the rear seat lower cushion in my camper and would like to try get some original style material. Does anyone know where I might be able to get something to match as I don’t want to retrim the whole van?
Many thanks in advance
Andy.

Re: How long will a Electrolux rm212 fridge run for on a 240v 2.1kwh battery pack?
Thanks guy's, it looks an impressive bit of kit but just not for this application perhaps. Don't think I'll bother with it to be honest but its from my wife's work and I think they kind of want us to give it a test. Suppose I could just use to evaluate it for them and then switch over to gas when it...

Re: Df air inlet to Solex carb fixing
It’s normally a stud fitted to the carb so you might find a part number if you look at the carb diagram but a normal bolt would work just as well I would think.
Haven’t got one to measure but I would guess at about 25-30mm long.

Re: DF thermostat, where are you?
You’ve probably found it by now but just read your post.
The thermostat on these engines is at the water pump so the same area as the temp sender.

That is some lovely work silverbullet.
How do you pick up the centre of the broken stud so accurately?
