The fridge in my camper is now 29 years old, it works but I think it needs re-gassing. I called him and he quoted me £85 + VAT but it was only a drive-in service and i'm based just N of London.

My concern was that i was told the refurb kit, when it was last available from VW, cost over £120 .... so £85 worries me a tad

Ok, so after much research and many postings on this forum it came down to: EliteVW the Engine shop Remtec Vege I have decided to go with the option that had the fewest negative review/views and have just ordered a Remtec, complete with exhaust, water pump and clutch.
