Headlights went dead driving down a busy dark Fens road!
Hi I had a rather unnerving issue last weekend when all my front lights died on a twisty, Fens road at night! When I managed to get to a safe place I wiggled the earths on the crowns behind the fusebox and the lights sprang back into life ...... the usual T25 electrical problem I thought. Today I we...

Interior refit needed -recommendations please
Hi My 1986 T25 Autosleeper Trident is having a full re-spray in October and I think it'd make sense to get the interior done at the same time. It needs new fabric linings, new upholstery and the original cupboards/units could do with a bit of tlc. Can anyone recommend a company who could do this for...

Re: fridge reconditioning
The fridge in my camper is now 29 years old, it works but I think it needs re-gassing. Why? well on hook-up when the van is 100% level it works within seconds, but if it isn't perfectly level then it can take up to 45 mins to start cooling down - thus I reckon that it's working fine but just needs m...

Re: Recommendations for a pierburg carburettor refurb/rebuild
Hi
does he come recommended?
I called him and he quoted me £85 + VAT but it was only a drive-in service and i'm based just N of London.
My concern was that i was told the refurb kit, when it was last available from VW, cost over £120 .... so £85 worries me a tad

Re: Which recon engine would you recommend?
Ok, so after much research and many postings on this forum it came down to: EliteVW the Engine shop Remtec Vege I have decided to go with the option that had the fewest negative review/views and have just ordered a Remtec, complete with exhaust, water pump and clutch. Fingers crossed 'cos it's costi...
