looking for some help please (based in cardiff ) just went to start van after 3 weeks (running fine last run) i have no spark at the plugs/ have tried plug in end of coil lead to distributor/ no spark that way either i need to get meter to check 12 volt to coil .. engine is turning over ok as norm...

1.9 dg petrol
just started van after laying up since nov 1 started up and run fine/ up to temp no water leaks/radiator hot/ took for a run and seems to be running on 3 cylinders intermittent. sluggish in 3/4 gear lots of rain and parked outside for 3 months/ possibly water in petrol ???? not sure will change plug...

I had a similar problem/ took weeks to sort out. the fault was tracked back from the black box in engine bay to fuse box. the feed wire to black box had no power, and was found to be melted where it connected in fuse boc. once we rewired away she went/ been ok since the aa spent 4 hours on it and go...

hi just fitted new window winder mechanism. all lined up on fixing holes etc fitted in ok/ but window stops about 12mm short of closing fully. anyone know it these are adjustable in anyway.....have managed to close by clamping the plate above the bracket. thanks all for the input. will take it all on board. are brickwerks the best place for new fuel lines, do they come with the plastic pipe on inner. thanks kev for filter advice, will sort that when I fit new lines and pump(if required). does your rad get hot when temp gauge at 3/4 ,,,,,if so your stat must be working/should get plenty of heat from pipes as well

hi anyone got the layout of old type fuse box on early van a reg (havent got manual with me) wipers stopped yesterday,,,,,,,,,,changed fuse(20 i think) wipers run for 30 secs then blew it again....40 mile in rain no wipers? any tips/help appreciated would it be relay maybe???? verat25 :ok :ok :ok
