Re: engine repair
many thanks Cobblers - good advice which I will follow.
thanks too Maxstu - there’s no hurry, but I only have the roadside on a hill to work at the moment, I’m ok with spannering but I’m getting older and my wallet is very thin these days.

Re: Replacing the dashboard plastic PCB
ok - I think i can see now from Bentley that it's a tacho connector (green wire) foil 9. I haven't got one so I will ignore that. If anyone that created the circuit board has any thoughts about my other connections to the pcb I'd be grateful for comments. cheers Zeb https://i.imgur.com/D6lwinq.jpg h...

Re: Replacing the dashboard plastic PCB
Hi, I decided to have a go at the original MidLifeCrisis solution to the dodgy foil. Things are moving along ok but I would really appreciate some help with the pin assigns from the veroboard to the original plug. I’ve mapped the 14 contacts on the original plug to the tracks I think they go to on t...

Re: tailgate wont shut properly
hmmm - still can't get this to work properly. Moved the striker plate inwards, worse and outwards better. Moved towards o/s worse and n/s better. But - it still wont move the locking part far enough to latch. I can push it to latch with my finger and when in latch position it locks. Pushing the tail...

tailgate wont shut properly
Hi, I would be grateful for advice please. I can't get the tailgate to shut. When I close it the gate just bounces back and won't latch. Push it hard or soft - it doesn't matter - still won't latch. I've had a good look at all the parts and they seem intact and working properly. I've pulled the rubb...

indicator switch problem
Hi, I have a problem with my indicator switch. Left indicator works well, but right indicator works very rarely. Sometimes it lights for one flash but that's it. I've taken the wheel off and I can see that the contacts are very dirty. Can I open the switch and clean the contacts? I can see three bra...

Re: dashboard lights
many thanks AngeloEvs I will follow your advice. The only weird part is that they were working and then suddenly not. Just out of interest, do you know which connexions are for the indicator lights? I just found a thread that discusses a pcb replacement for the foil - I think that's the next step, b...
