Re: Exhaust
I'm now running a gsxr can on the end of my 1991 dg motor. I bought one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120530285497&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT Got the guy to make it with a 48mm slip on and 3 bolt holes with 80mm pcd. Chopped link pipe off about 40mm from join w...

You might want to put these pictures to show why you should take a magnet when looking over a van. http://i834.photobucket.com/albums/zz262/rotboxrestorations/breaking/P13-04-10_14-09.jpg http://i834.photobucket.com/albums/zz262/rotboxrestorations/breaking/P13-04-10_14-121.jpg http://i834.photobucke...

Re: Backfiring, lack of power
If the coil doesnt solve the problem, you might have the same issue as me, secondary throttle diaphram (25 on picture) has a small plastic joint that clips to part of carb has broken leaving me with similar problems. I changed the fuel filter cleaned little one, rotor arm cap, leads, plugs and coil ...

I want to go to vw elemental in my...

Re: servicing
Ta, yes I guess I'll replace the lot for peace of mind. As it happens, it's not running so well but it starts and idles fine so I guess they can't be in too bad nick. It loses power going uphill, sort of has weak spots and then picks up again. I thought a basic service would be the place the start ...
